OBJECTIVES

Learn to utilize layers in Photoshop to create complex drawing arrangements

Familiarize yourself with Photoshop tools i.e. Magic Wand, Paint Brush, Paint Bucket

Learn to manipulate images with Free Transform and Warp tools to "sculpt" an artwork in Photoshop
DIRECTIONS

Go to File > New with the following settings: Width: 1000, Height: 1000, Resolution: 320

Right click on the picture of the bottom bun and click "Copy Image"

Go to Edit > Paste to paste it into your file in Photoshop

Select the Magic Wand tool and click anywhere within the blue area and hit Delete. (The Magic Wand will select every instance of the color you clicked on.)

Ctrl + D to deselect the area

Repeat Steps 2 - 5 for every image in the following order: Patty > Cheese > Tomato > Lettuce > Top Bun

Once you have all of the parts of your burger, click and drag each of their layers in the layers palette to build a burger.

Hold down Control and click on the image of the fries. Hit "Copy Image" and then go to Edit > Paste to paste it into your file

Click and drag the layer with your french fries underneath all of the other layers

Select the french fries layer and change the Opacity slider from 100% to 60%

Use the Type tool and add your own name to your cheeseburger. Your OWN name, not my name!

Save your final image to the FNISHED WORK folder in Google Classroom when you are finished. Make sure you take the time to make each piece of your cheeseburger fit evenly.
